No quarto trimestre de 2018 a taxa de variação homóloga registada pelo IPT foi de -6,3%, diminuindo -7,8 pontos percentuais (p.p.) face ao valor registado no trimestre anterior. A variação trimestral observada no quarto trimestre de 2018 foi de -5,8%, inferior em -12,1 p.p. e de sentido contrário ao valor registado no trimestre anterior (6,3%), reflexo do padrão de sazonalidade deste indicador. No quarto trimestre de 2017, contrariamente ao trimestre atual, esta variação tinha sido positiva. Em 2018, os preços da oferta turística aumentaram em média 0,1% face ao ano anterior.
