No terceiro trimestre de 2019, a hotelaria registou cerca de 181 664 mil hóspedes, correspondendo a um acréscimo de 6,8% face ao ano de 2018. No mesmo período, as dormidas cresceram 1,9%, relativamente ao mesmo período do ano 2018. Os hotéis continuam sendo os estabelecimentos hoteleiros mais procurados, representando 89,1%, do total das entradas. O principal mercado emissor de turistas, neste trimestre, continua sendo o Reino Unido, com 25,1%, do total das entradas, a seguir vêm Portugal, Alemanha, Países Baixos e França, responsáveis por 15,2%, 9,9%, 8,0% e 7,3%, respetivamente.
